Teaching Haiku

Yesterday we had a writing lesson on writing a HAIKU poem, Writing a Haiku poem includes rules. In the Haiku there is 3 lines and the first line has 5 syllables the next line has 7 syllables and the last has 5 syllables. We had to use figurative language that we mostly did through the whole term in the Haiku like personification, alliteration, Imagery, assonance.

Basic Facts

For this I got 40/40 it was pretty easy because I already learn't most of these equations. For this it took me 5m 26s answering it and rechecking. I was trying my best not to rush and I did but only for the easy questions. Next time I will do stage 8 and try to get 40/40.    

Shape Shooting

This game was all about perimeter. The green square perimeter was 6ft and I had to find 5 units inside the dots. I had a clear understanding of perimeter and found it very easy. Next time my aim is to complete area and have a clear understanding.
